A small village just outside the Cantopani Gate and only a short walk from the Northern Passage of Analand. This is the first village the Analander can come across, but it can be avoided as well. Like most of the villages in the Shamutanti Hills, it is very poor, but it does have a few places of interest.

The Street[]
Here, a villager will accost the Analander and ask what their business is. If the Analander chooses to be hostile towards him, then he is very easily killed or scared away. If asked for directions, he will give them in exchange for 1 or 2 gold. In New Game Plus, he is wearing a cloth skullcap, which can be looted from him or bought for 1 or 8 gold.
There are two more locations within the village that the Analander can visit, but they can only visit one of them before leaving the village behind. The Storage House can only be visited by being friendly to the villager.
The Storage House[]
Here, the Analander can buy equipment for their journey. There are various weapons and items that can be purchased, including a peculiar Carved Axe-Head (5,7 or 9 gold), a Bamboo Pipe, (3 gold) a Broadsword (6 or 8 gold) and a bag of creature's teeth that includes 4 Goblin Teeth, 3 Ape Teeth, 2 Snattacat Teeth and a Giant's Tooth, (3 gold for the whole bag) most of which can be used in spells. Additionally, the Analander can swipe a Blimberry Potion while the merchant is away or buy it (4 gold). Avoid buying the jewel (8 or 10 gold), as it is actually a Jewel of Ice that will melt in one day.
The Inn[]
It is run by a woman named Amella. The Analander can buy stew (1 meal) for 1 gold or up to 2 provisions for 1 gold each. The Analander can steal the provisions but Amella will pour stew over them, dealing 2 damage. If the villager on the street was scared away, he can be found here again.
Trivia[]
In New Game Plus, if the Analander conjures a Rock Demon to destroy the Cantopani Gate and then head into Cantopani, they'll find the villagers terrified, saying that a demon demolished the warehouse. Because of this, the Analander won't be able to buy equipment.
