The Sightmaster Sergeant is a character in both Sorcery!: The Shamutanti Hills and Sorcery! 3. He was the Sergeant of the Sightmaster Warriors and lived in Analand.

Background[]
The Sightmaster Sergeant was the head of the Cantopani Gate Guard, led the Sightmaster Warriors of Analand, and served directly under the King of Analand.
A Send-Off[]
The Sightmaster Sergeant helped the Analander prepare for their quest to retrieve the Crown of Kings. He gave them their gift of gold pieces from the King, had their final combat training session, offered advice and saw them off as they left the gates.
In New Game+, if the Analander particularly impresses the Sergeant during their combat session, he will give them a jewel-studded medallion.
Circumstances[]
The Sightmaster may have been met once more on a small island on Lake Ilklala. He had been kidnapped by the Archmage and tied to a tree by birdmen. His eyes were converted to that of a Red Eye's, meaning whenever he opens them, they will burn everything in his sight. The Analander may have untied and comforted him, but there was no way of helping him. He reopened his eyes when the Analander left, choosing to look down, killing himself, sparing him and anyone else his painful power.
Personality[]
The Sightmaster Sergeant was an honest and upstanding leader. He genuinely cared for the Analander, having a father-like admiration for them.
Abilities[]
The Sightmaster Sergeant, like other Sightmasters, had exceptional eyesight, perhaps seeing as far as Kharé. He also had a good degree of combat ability, able to spar with the Analander.
