Yellow Powder is a magical item used to cast NIP. The caster must sniff the powder and then cast the spell to become exceptionally fast for a short duration.

- NIP at the first beacon. This has no effect.
- NIP when encountering the lynchbug, to either run away or push it over the cliff before it can react
- NIP at the dark elf caravan to escape
- NIP to steal the dwarf's lunch
- NIP to escape the basement of the temple of Throff. You will knock into the priest of Throff whom you rescued, which makes the entire temple collapse
- NIP when encountering the Air Serpent in the steppes to run away.
- NIP while being dragged by a snattacat. This gives you enough time to draw your sword to stab the snattacat (which will otherwise get caught) or to cast HOT (which will otherwise miss). Both make the snattacat release you.
- NIP while trapped by the stranglebush. This has no effect.
- NIP while fighting the Fire Serpent in the forest of Snatta to get a combat bonus
- NIP when encountering the marsh goblins to either run away or have a combat bonus fighting them
- NIP while fighting the Earth Serpent to get a free action, a combat bonus, and unlocking the ability to pick up the Serpent off the ground.
- NIP while on Lake Ilkalala to go faster
- NIP while fighting the flying fish to get a combat bonus
- NIP at the HOT grimalkin to easily dodge all the fireballs and either destroy the grimalkin or get to the roof
- NIP while encountering the roachpig to either kill it or dodge until it gives up

- NIP on the narrow bridge. The bridge will collapse but you will reach the other side as long as you grab onto the ropes.
- NIP while falling into the ravine.You will be able to brace, which ends up dealing 5 damage to you, or to grab a branch, which ends up dealing 3 damage to you, both of which are preferable to the default result which is death.
- NIP when the goblin steals your ladder, leaving you on a ledge. This isn't useful.
- NIP while caught in a landslide to escape it
- NIP through the pass unharmed
- NIP in the merchant's cart. This isn't useful.
- NIP at the main gate to dodge past the guards and get inside Mampang, or flee.
- NIP when ZAPed by the captain outside the warehouse in order to dodge the spell
- NIP while being chased by the guards in order to escape
- NIP to run to the SUN grimalkin in the treasury, which allows you to smash it.
- NIP in the DUM tower. This isn't useful.
- NIP outside the HUF tower. This isn't useful.
- NIP in the SUN tower to run through it
- NIP in the KID tower to run through the flames, which will make you notice they are fake
- NIP in the FAL tower. This isn't useful.
- NIP in the POP tower to run to the other side unharmed.
- NIP while encountering the mutant champion to either escape where you cae from or get passed him deeper.
- NIP when in the arrow trap in the vaults to dodge the arrows
- NIP after casting TOP to get to the roof of the archmage's tower. This isn't useful.
